Thanks for your info on the Cole Haan possible counterfeit. I apologize. I typically buy all my CH either direct from CH or DSW. These specifically were from Amazon. This disappointments me. Had you asked I would have checked them prior to selling as I have never heard about this? If you want to return I will accept them back.

No worries, I just thought you'd want to know. I have many pair of Cole Haan, and these look and fit exactly the same. The quality seems very good, from the leather to the stitching. If I hadn't taken out the insole, I would never have noticed. I'm very happy with them, just thought you'd want to know. Would you like me to send you a photo?

Hi--Wanted to let you know that I bought another pair of Cole Haan loafers from another seller & had the same problem. Wore them for the first time today & noticed they had a weird smell. I took out the inner sole & found the same problem, a Romeo Pacini cardboard lining. Probably too late to return them; had for a few wks, but this is 1st time wearing), but wanted to give you another heads up, so you can check out any you might have or will buy. BTW, similar style to yours, bt not quite as nice

Please ignore! The message is correct, but I sent it to the wrong Posher. Had the same issue with another pair of loafers that I previously reported to you. So weird! Seems like there might be a conspiracy afoot! Anyway, thought you'd want to know.
