barbiemartha Hey! I understand your frustration it's happened to me where I put in an offer and someone came along and purchased or offered higher, it happens. Just a word of advice many sellers will take offers immediately if they're shipping costs but many don't want to go back and forth, if you really want something make an offer that a seller will accept immediately.

barbiemartha Also you don't have a track record yet so when you accept items leaving positive feedback for people will help a seller trust you more. We look at those things. Unfortunately there are many new buyers on here who are lowballing and then not leaving feedback so sellers are more likely to go with a seasoned seller/buyer. You seem lovely and I'm sorry you're bummed but it's kind of like walking into a store and not grabbing something when you could then going back for it and it's gone.

barbiemartha I personally would automatically take an offer that I don't have to counter back and forth over the low ball and negotiation. It's a lot of energy for an item that is already priced well below other similar items on here. I hope that all makes sense and in the future you're able to use these ideas to work in your favor! poppysunspiral @barbiemartha I have purchased 5 items so far. I've left 2 feedback as of today. How can you see my feedback? I didn't know anyone but the item's seller could! What do I go to look for this? I will be adding my closet here the next few days. This is helpful to know. Plz explain. :) I am still new but am already hooked.

barbiemartha When you click on the person's top left photo of their page, it takes you to a page that tells you when they became a member, things they've shared and items they left feedback for. When I say feedback I mean comments. So you can give the 5 stars which someone like me can't see but I'd be able to see the feedback comment if you leave them.

barbiemartha Try it on me and you'll see feedback I've gotten and ones that I left. This helps a seller and buyer know that you are active and as a seller- you're a good seller. Like I said we check that because often times a seller will ship quickly and a buyer won't accept. That deters the seller because it means we don't get the funds immediately and doesn't let anyone know how good the person is!

barbiemartha Like I said unfortunately for you the most recent people signing up aren't following curtesy so a lot of sellers are getting frustrated, this will absolutely make a name for you as a great member of the posh community. These are a few easy things someone can do to show they are here to be an upstanding member of the community.

barbiemartha There's been an influx of new people I believe because another similar site closed (or so I've heard) so the people are offering sometimes 50% and below asking price which upsets reputable sellers. I'll keep my eye out for yellow cords for you! And I agree this is an awesome site with a really good group of women who love it too!
