hughestoyou @holly_guy I checked Holly and I don't have a tool to get the back off and don't want to try it. When I bought this at the Fossil store years ago I only wore it pretty much until the battery died and never replaced or wore again. I think the best bet is to take to a watch repair shop close by your home or jewelry store since they will have the tool to take it off and replace battery. Sorry I couldn't be more help but I would guess its the standard round thin nickel size battery ya know.

hughestoyou @holly_guy HEY I think I found it...there were numbers on the leather band inside...JR 9062 and when I googled it it came up as a watch battery!!! YAY

I used a measuring tape , but I don't know why that would matter. the other thing was they seem to be high waisted. which is not your fault cause they don't say it anywhere. I'm just sick of spending money on Poshmark and not getting what I think I am.
