Hi!!! I was looking over the jacket you bought. I have barely worn it since buying it. It was sold to me NWOT from another Posh seller. I noticed today the elastic on the zipper pull looks a bit stretched. Otherwise it looks fine. I just wanted to fully disclose this info to make sure you're okay with it. Let me know... I will print out the label and ship ASAP if you are ok with this detail I missed.

@daniatpch I will take a photo and post it to the listing in a bit, I have to wait until I get home I am just leaving to go to the ice skating rink with my daughter. If you want to cancel, that's fine too. It's totally up to you. But I will post a photo of the zipper pull and I am more than happy to take one off of my newer jackets for you. And it's not purple, it's dark gray.

I think the dark charcoal gray will blend in very nicely. And again, it's from a brand-new jacket that I purchased recently Direct from Lulu. Is that OK? I was just going to swap it out, take the mildly stretched one and put it on my jacket and give you the new one for your jacket. I matched the dark gray up to the jacket and I think it looks really nice. That's the only issue that I could spot on the jacket. I just want to be completely honest about any tiny defects that I find on an item.

Your package was going out in the morning mail. I'll wait to hear from you before it leaves my house. I'll make sure you're okay with the pull swap. And to be specific, the pull is from a Black Swan jacket...but the pull looks like a very dark gray. Close to black but not an exact match. It's the newest one I have. I never plan to sell it, so I'm fine taking the other one!

Hi Jessa If you don't mind I'm going to wash it first, just trying to see if the smell of cigarette will come off. I'm sorry but everything cosmetic is ok except that it reeks a lot like cigarettes. If smell doesn't come out I might just send it back :( I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Give me one day and I will get back to you please.

I bought it to wear when I workout on my way to the gym/leaving the gym, as you would understand that cigarette smell doesn't go very well when you sweat. I'm so sorry for all the inconvenience this might cause you,but I definitely don't want to keep it if the smell doesn't completely come out.If you don't agree with me washing it please let me know, after all it's still yours until I accept your order.

I use linen spray when things smell, but maybe I missed it from the other seller. I just had it in my closet:( I don't understand.

@daniatpch It's fine if you wash it. Add vinegar and baking soda to the wash. Line dry. They say repeat twice if you still smell it. I do yoga and skate and totally get it! I would not want to smell like cigarette smoke either. Whatever you decide to do, it's fine.

Update! @daniatpch If you plan request Poshmark for a return, just make sure you don't use hot water or a dryer. Hang to dry. There are lots of online articles about how to remove cigarette smoke using basic household ingredients like vinegar and baking soda. I was very careful to describe the jacket accurately, which is why I added the brand-new zipper pull. I'm very disappointed. I thought you would be very happy.

I must admit, I did not wash the jacket as to not cause any further wear or tear on the garment before selling it. It was used, as I explained.. unfortunately I am not aware of what happened with the jacket before I purchased it. I tried to describe the condition of the garment to the best of my ability. At least you're happy with the cosmetic appearance. I hope this can be resolved without a return.

I have thought a lot about this. I work hard to describe accurately, which is why I went to the trouble to buy a new zipper pull for the jacket. As the second owner, I could not comment on the jacket's exposure to pets, cigarette smoke or any other environmental issues. I did not smell smoke, however some people are more sensitive to scents than others. I don't see how a "not as described" return applies here. I'm sorry you're not happy. I have never had this complaint before anywhere selling.

Why did you give me a poor review? I was clear in the listing that it was owned previously. I did not want to wash the jacket to avoid any further wear or tear on the item. It wasn't dirty, it had a scent that I did not detect. If the jacket had looked dirty, I would have washed it. Oh well. I'm sorry you were that unhappy with your purchase. I really tried.
