jkdesigns Yes, of course! I would look over what I want to sell to check for any flaws first. If it is something I would buy as is, then I would take clear photos that show all parts of my item. If clothing, measurements are key. Personally, I pass by listings without measurements. As a shopper, after all, I can’t touch the item or try it on! It will help your buyer know if it will fit.

jkdesigns Then I would create listings that describe the item. Make it sound like something a shopper wants or needs. Give details. Dimensions/measurements. List the item. But there is more you can do! Offer excellent customer service! Say hello to those that “like” an item & offer to help. Send offers to “likers” with 10% or more off. Answer all questions.

jkdesigns If someone bundles your items, offer assistance and ask if they are ready for your offer. Sometimes they are still shopping! Then, maybe the next day or a few hours later, send an offer with discount on the bundle to entice the customer to buy. If they do, there is still more you can do to increase sales. You can earn great feedback & a return customer!

jkdesigns I package & ship ASAP. I wrap each item like a gift in tissue. What I sell is fragile, so I use jewelry boxes, bubble wrap, cardboard for stiffness in the envelope so the package arrives in one piece! The post office puts ALL items through automation now, even those labeled “FRAGILE,” unless you pay a lot extra. I include a hand-written note in every package thanking my customer. I remind them I am available if something goes wrong.

jkdesigns I am sure I have forgotten to list some of what I do to make a great listing, a sale, and build a customer base. Oh yes, I continually share my items, especially at Posh Parties! I also use the Find People feature to find new customers a few times a week. I talk about my Posh Closet with those I meet to draw customers from daily life too. Hope these ideas help

jkdesigns @amakomifeoma Excellent! I am plus sized and really wish people would offer measurements. If they did, I would know right then that it will fit and can buy it. Chances are, even if the seller sends measurements after I ask, I have already moved on to something else! I think sellers don’t add measurements because it takes time. It’s better to go the extra mile for a customer. We all love great service!
