leshadalton @imlp I did some research and found that the early James Avery charms (before 2004) were not marked with the candlestick emblem. The charm you received from me was authentic which makes me feel better. You could call James Avery headquarters in Kerrville, TX to confirm this.

imlp @leshadalton Hi there! So, I too was a little bothered by the claim and discovered TWO JA pieces that I purchased recently that also only had the Avery name stamp! Thank you for doing that research...I love the piece and would've kept it either way. But, you better believe that I will be going back to that JA store clerk and letting her know what we discovered...and to do some research herself...the next customer may not be as nice! Thanks again....your rating certainly deserves an update!

leshadalton @imlp I’m just glad that you were able to give the charm as a gift with knowing it’s authentic. I think that the clerks who are newer may not be familiar with the emblem history. Live and learn!

xtrathings4u @imlp - well, I tried to redo the offer and Poshmark notification says they can’t send the same offer to likers. The new price I offer has to be at least 10% lower than my last offer in the last 90 days (and the last offer was just 3 days ago and that was a 20% discount). I just can’t discount more than 20% right now. I’ll keep trying to see if there’s another way. Maybe you can also go in and make a direct offer of the $44 and ask for $5.95 shipping. Let’s see what happens if we both try😉
