Aloha! I’m sorry that the cover up smells like perfume, I don’t know why. I never worn it..I have had it for 6 years and it’s been in a dust bag! Something happen to the shipping bag from what I saw! I very sorry but if you don’t want it, by all means send it back!! Mahalo
