blissfullyyours Hi Irma!! I just wanted to let u know WE are home! Me and Reno! So the vet did a blood sugar test and surprisingly it wasn’t low! It was 92! So they had to do a complete bloodwork panel so they could see what was going on! They took him in the back for that and the vet tech gave me an ice pack for my head! It’s been hurting soo bad becuz of all my crying! (Hysterical and happy tears)

blissfullyyours So believe it or not his blood work wasn’t as bad as we thought for an over 15 yr old chihuahua! Well at least his pancreas was ok but his kidney levels are off

blissfullyyours So when he tee tee today I cleaned it up and it smelled sweet! So I was worried that maybe it was diabetes! It’s definitely a certain smell! I’m not sure if everyone can smell it, but being in the medical field I can smell it for sure!

blissfullyyours So they wanted to put him in the hospital and give him an iv until morning! So luckily I do know about medicine so I asked if instead they could give him saline sub-cutaneous? So they did , it gives him a little bubble on his back and it slowly hydrates him!..

blissfullyyours And the gave him a couple more injections for his tummy and I’m to try and get him to eat about 11 tonight! So he is laying on his heating pad and I’m right beside him with 2 ice packs on!.

blissfullyyours So I’m praying and hoping for the best!! She was talking about “end of life options “ and I’m like nope, not yet, I have to try!!!so hospital was $1,500 so she did the hydrating under his skin all for $600!

blissfullyyours So!! Tmro I will take him to his regular vet, now that we have the bloodwork and hoping that he perks up and eats and stuff that maybe she can do some type of insulin treatment! I know they can’t live forever but I have to try!..

blissfullyyours I could feel it coming yesterday so I took some pics of him and put the date on them! So TY again u helped me have a little extra time with him!! This heartache is so devastating! But I have my 2 other fur babies! My chiweenie Boobear and a maltipoo Bella that need me!! I hope time will help this Lost Broken feeling!!!I wish they could live forever!! But just wanted to thank u again! I did get some special xtra time with him!?💙💙

There is someone for everyone and I will keep you in my prayers. Size 10 is too big sadly I don’t know anyone in my family in women that wear that size either😏could you just cancel it. Keep yourself busy with friends and family and it will go alot smoother. Praying for you my friend.
