Hi Isa- That’s so cool what you’re twisted & doing!! I’m super impressed!! I hv the STAUD jumpsuit you put a offer in on. I’m sorry I didn’t respond. I wasn’t feeling well yesterday. Wanted to LUK that I’ve marked it down 2-3 x & it’s now at honestly, rock bottom. I won’t make a penny but won’t lose much at what it’s marked at. It fits me-so I’d rather keep than take a huge hit.

You’re so close-it’s an incredible bargain (it’s from Neiman’s & I bought w/ my yearly ‘credit’ on sale-STAUD & othr sites were s/out of SZ Sm, so it’d be really difficult to locate NWT. I don’t want to come across as rude or difficult, but I don’t ‘pad’ my prices—rather mark them as low as I possibly can; to be transparent w/ my regular clients. They seem to appreciate it. 🤷🏼♀️ It’s hard knowing what to do.

I’ve tried marking up-so as to offer deep discounts, but that hasn’t worked so great for me. I don’t make much doing this- & unfortunately hv like 500 more items to list 😩 lots NWTs. I’ll think I’ve found amazing deals no one would pass up- & we end up quibbling over a few $s. I have to make $1-$3 just for the steaming/packing materials/carrying the credit etc... I do offer a 15% disct on 3 items...

Isa- Wow! Thank you so very kindly for your purchase. I think you’ll be extremely pleased w/ it! The jumpsuit is truly gorgeous- the hue so saturated, the fabric ‘hand’ so lovely; very substantial. It will of course wrinkle being linen (thick as it is, not all crumbly like cheap linen-but it’ll crease), but that’s part of its charm, & an indicator of the linen’s quality (I sew).

Personally, I’d consider hand-washing it in COLD water, w/ delicate detergent-I use ONLY thelaundress.com products & watch their vids on cleaning different fabrics- lay FLAT to dry, & press INSIDE OUT, or STEAM, while just almost dry, to best remove wrinkles. But you’d be doing so at yr own risk; I believe it suggests dry cleaning. It’s just all natural fabrics CAN be hand-washed.

I wash ALL of my wools/cashmeres/linens etc... as after a few trips to the dry cleaners a sheen often builds up from the chemicals/pressing. It’s just an option I thought I’d share w/ you. Though, depending on the dye, the water COULD make the blue run a bit the 1st few washes (which is why one would lay flat vs hang to dry) so there IS that.

Some people add vinegar to the cold water during the rinse- let it sit. There’s a world of info on YouTube on hand-washing linen FYI. Of course, dry cleaning is easiest, & it’s hard to beat their pressing! 😉 But something to think about as the garment gets older. Also, should you feel next year it needs a facelift of sorts, it would upcycle beautifully into a shorts jumpsuit ✅

so you’ll always hv that as an option to give it a new/fresh look. Any tailor can cut/hem legs inexpensively. From the remaining fabric, one could easily make a small bag, hair ties, a different belt, incorporating another color or 2– Just throwing ideas out there- But in any case, I believe the orig price was close to $300. so you’ve done some awesome shopping today!!
