Hi! @croweart do u know how to trade with people I'm trying to do a trade right now but cannot figure out how?
croweart
Hi Isabella! I actually don't trade, and it's not an action that is supported by Poshmark, so there's not a specific way to trade using Posh features, I believe it would have to be a verbal agreement to each send your items to each other. Let's ask a few ladies that may have traded before....@jodisjewelry @vickyss @stylenu @nic39 ladies, any ideas on how to do a trade???
stylenu
Sorry, I'm no help since I don't trade!

@croweart Hi Isabella! Welcome! I'm sorry, I don't trade either...
jodisjewelry
@croweart I don't trade either but this is what I've seen. It is a verbal agreement, then each makes a listing showing what they are trading. They each price the listing for $3, posh minimum, and each buys from each other, bc this gives a shipping label. Then each sends the other the items. Con't

@croweart Please be careful tho, bc I've seen so many times where one person sends the items and the other one doesn't, or doesn't send what they promised. If that happens, the only recourse thru posh is to refund the cost of the transaction, and $3 isn't much to recover if it's an expensive item.

@croweart If I were to trade with a stranger and it was over $50, I would suggest you each pay that amount, or $150, or $256, etc, the value of what you're reading, and both pay same amt each other so in the event something goes wrong, you can actually get the value of your item. Just my opinion, you can go the $3 route, bc that's what most ppl do, just please be careful. Read their feedback on other trades on sold listings at the bottom of their closet

@vickyss @stylenu @nic39. @croweart
Read above pls abt trading, just FYI for future reference.

@jodisjewelry Thanks jodi!! I actually never thought of any of that....hope this helps Isabella!

@croweart I never would've either, but posh had great shipping rates, and even with the transaction cost, one can ship up to 5 lbs for $8.95, can't beat that anywhere. I have read so many horror stories of ppl getting scammed tho, like trading Louis Vitton bags and one person sending a fake and the other being out a few grand for the cost of the bag... Makes me scared to trade unless it was someone like you or someone I've known awhile from here.
