@gizmo47 You are too sweet! You have really great things in your closet! I think you may have more success if your pictures were better lit and/or had a lighter background. Be creative! Patterned poster board and pretty scrapbook paper, a couple of flowers can make your photo stand out. All are cheap and will make your photos stand out. People respond better to well lit and staged pictures. Add as much to the description as you can, you can google search items with the number on the tag...

@gizmo47 Measurements are big too. Very importantly, you need to share! The more people you follow, the more will follow you. Then share listings and they will do the same. If you are on Facebook, there are some great Posh groups where we share tips and help each other out. Itโs a great resource. Your closet has amazing potential to do really well! I canโt wait to see what you can do! ๐๐

@txblingqueen thank you so much! I need to have it organized, LOL. I made the signs by adding text to a screen shot of a pattern I liked. The signs move based on the order you share your items. So if you edit skirts, put the skirt sign last and so on. It gets easier to figure out how it will list with time. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can help out with your closet! ๐๐

@ontheharbour Hi Sara! Your closet will sort in the order you share, last item on top. If you filter to dresses and share all your dresses, they will all group together. Then repeat for your other categories. Itโs fairly easy to keep in place once the initial sort โฅ๏ธ

Does closet order change when people share your items? Every time I add new items (or edit current ones), I have to then share all the like items to keep it in order. @resale4you You can save your listings as a draft; make a new listing and hit cancel, save as draft. Then when you are sharing you can add the new listing wherever you want and continue to share. Once you get your closet in the order you want, itโs very easy to keep it there. ๐

Thank you for this. I ended a 40 year career as a librarian in June 2020. I started poshing mid-March 2021. I am basically selling my work wardrobe. A lot of which I never wore. I am a bit of a fashion file. I think that is true of a lot of us. I guess I am feeling impatient because I want to clear things out. I want to apologize for my tardiness on shares. my hubby and I decided to buy a new house memorial Day weekend & it's been a whirlwind the last 6 weeks trying to get our other house ready to sell, get it on the market, get moved to new house. but we got all that done midnight last night &now we just need the other house to sell! my poshing sharing has been lacking but I think I can get back on schedule today ๐ thanks for the continued support. it's been really slow.
