remington_ Hey man! I just sold you that necklace. When I was going to ship the chain broke, so I went to Kendra Scott and they are repairing it. Since I figured with timing and it being a necklace it could be for Valentines, I wanted to give you a heads up. They said it would be fixed in a couple weeks, but I don't want to stress you out with timing. I am happy to cancel the order if you need something before then, or I can send it once they're able to fix that chain! Sorry again!

remington_ Drove to three different stores to try to get that chain but with it being their fine jewelry line it looks like they commonly don't keep them in store. Honestly just glad it broke before making it to you so I was able to look into options!! Definitely not trying to stress ya out or put you in a bind!

wallacejacobc Hey there! Oh man, well that's unlucky. You know, you could just ship it as-is. That way it'd be here in time for a good gift. Kendra Scott has fixed up my wife's stuff before I think. That way she could get it, and she has chains she may like better anyway. She'd enjoy the process. So ya, just ship it on over! No worries

remington_ @wallacejacobc no worries at all! Thank you for being cool about it, I felt so bad! Kendra has the chain now but I definitely could send it with either another gold chain or something as a place holder until they’re able to send the repaired one back! I feel like we could go two routes with it- if you don’t mind it being a cheap chain you could just toss it once the other one comes in. Honestly happy to do whatever makes most sense and is easiest for you!

wallacejacobc @remington_ Hey again! Do you think you’d want to keep the original chain once it’s repaired? I’m not sure how much it’s worth on its own, but if it broke once then maybe my wife might want to swap it later anyway. But if you had an inexpensive place holder to send it out with then that would work great for a gift short term. And if you don’t want to hold on to the original chain I could pay you some extra for shipping and whatever your place holder cost.

remington_ @wallacejacobc I would honestly be surprised if they didn’t end up sending a new one to replace it from the break. I definitely want to make sure it makes it to you guys! I had to cancel the order because it requires shipping within 7 days or it auto cancels! Have you gotten that refund from them yet?
