luvsumshopin Hi im Tabitha i wanted 2 say i don't want 2 seem greedy as if $5 is that much of a deal. But I purchase all of my items from the wholesaler so everything is new & still packaged from the warehouse. Also, Poshmark gets 20% of the profit we make on every item. I dont get ur money from them until u receive ur package. Then they take 20% & deposit 80% into my account. I'm able 2 charge u guys much less bc it skips retail & most don't know; some markup from wholesale 300-400%! LOOK IT UP!

luvsumshopin So if i go in a retail store and see some Frye Boots for $680. I could purchase for $190(depending on which ones & i only mark up usually 25-35%) so that would be @ $256 & then I take into consideration the 20% taken out plus I include a new gift w/every package $20 &⬆️. So i would price the boots @ $296. But I would only profit @ $38( thats great for me) if i did not budge for the person & i do 99% of the time.

luvsumshopin Normally my average profit off each sale is @ $5-8. Poshmark is where people come to buy nice items for much less; in order 2 sale I must keep it low. But I always feel bad if someone didn't offer a lowball price & its reasonable but uts just tok low for what I had 2 pay.

luvsumshopin But if i sold the dress for $20, I would only make $2.12. That is not including all my packaging & thats w/o including a small gift of appreciation which i i don't factor into cost bc therefore it wouldn't b a gift. I hope you understand!😏 I appreciate you shopping in my closet and I do LOVE OFFERS;

luvsumshopin There's not enough people that make offers and most offers I would take! The general rule of thumb 2 follow, I just had to learn by people telling me; is if u make an offer keep it under 25-30% of the asking price. Almost everyone accepts if its 10-15% below. And its different if its something nice out of your closet where you are making straight profit.

luvsumshopin In anyone's closet if it says boutique in the upper right hand corner. They purchased from wholesale which is different than NWT. That just means they purchased one and never wore or took tags off ( sorry, common sense). Sorry for being longwinded.😉😀🙋‍♀️

luvsumshopin @collingwoodave Hey, this is Tabitha. I just wanted 2 update u on the dress u purchased bc I saw it hasn't been scanned yet.I guess it's bc I took it 2 the Post Office after 12:00pm. I dropped it off yesterday. Now w/the weekend u may not get it until Tuesday. But bc it has taken longer than expected I'm going 2 give u a $7 credit toward anything u want 2 apply it toward in my closet.
