Welcome to Poshmark. I wish you much fun and success while searching fashion finds and making speedy sales.

Hi! Welcome to Poshmark! I have found one thing that boosts sales is to share all items from my closet at least twice a day with my followers and at parties. The more you follow, the more others follow you, and that means more people are seeing your items. Good luck and have fun! 🎈

@roomefind wow! Thank you so much! I needed that! Just getting started😁 I’ll
Check out your closet too! Again, I appreciate your help!

@ji1014 😀 I’m a huge fan of the brands you have in your closet and I’m sure you are going to do great! Let me know if you have questions as you’re getting your closet off the ground!
ji1014
@roomefind that’s so awesome! Thank you! I will definitely do that😊

Hey! How long before you made your first sale? I’m going to try and add to my closet daily and am being patient. I wish there was a messenger where I could ask you Poshmark questions without posting them al on my wall😊😬
ji1014
@roomefind 👆🏾that message was for you!😊

@ji1014 😊. Our first sale was quick but the next few were a bit slower. My daughter found an algorithm we think made a difference. Everyday we 1) follow people who are following us, 2) list 3 items if possible, 3) share items of people who’ve shared our items (on the feed) for at least 10 minutes, 4) follow 10 ambassadors and share 3 items from their closets, 5) welcome new poshers. (I think that’s right but google “Poshmark’s 30 minute method”. )

Don’t be discouraged, it will come. You’ve got a great closet! Keep us posted.

@roomefind wow! Okay, thank you. I am going to definitely incorporate at least some semblance of that into my Poshing. I’m still learning to navigate and understand how Poshmark really works on the app. I’m also getting lowballed on specific items and am not sure if I should respond, continue not responding, or when to counter. I’ve been playing it by ear...a week on as a seller not sure about things but I am still motivated to keep posting and stay positive 😊
roomefind
@ji1014 lol! I find it hard not to take lowballing personally at times... especially if I’m attached to an item! We generally try to counter if the offer is at least 50% the asking price. Lower than that and we usually reject it. I’ll repost a helpful chart that has migrated low into our closet.
ji1014
@roomefind awesome! Got the chart and thank you so much! I was right about the lowballing...good to have the chart as another guideline!

@roomefind hey! I’m back on! Lol, a lot happening...someone added one item to their bundle from my store...what does that mean. What is my next step?
roomefind
@ji1014 I generally take bundling to mean a person may be more interested in an item than just liking it. Sadly it doesn’t necessarily translate into a quicker sale but I generally give a little higher discount to people who bundle vs like an item. (ie 12% vs 10%). Hope this helps! 😃
ji1014
@roomefind what if they just picked one item to bundle from my store. I guess I’m thrown off by the verbiage...my next step is to make an offer?
roomefind
@ji1014 lol. Bundles work differently than offers in that shipping has one more option. Sellers can make offers from bundles without needing to give any discount on shipping or, if they want to, can give the discount required when extending offers to everyone who ❤️’d your item. Other than that the purpose of bundles seems to depend on the person. Sometimes I offer a discount, sometimes I wait for the buyer to make an offer.
roomefind
Whether or not I offer a discount depends on my margin and the length of time something has been in my closet. Whether you extend an offer is up to you. Hope that all makes sense! 😀
ji1014
@roomefind I made a sale!
roomefind
@ji1014 Congratulations, that is great! I was just thinking about you, and how I should reach out and make sure you knew about the 30 minute method. It is an algorithm that is supposed to help increase sales too! Have you heard about it? They suggest listing 3 new listing a day, welcoming 3-5 new poshers, following followers, following/sharing ambassadors, and then sharing some people who shared your items. I hope you have more sales soon!! 🙂
