hi, saw your comments and wanted to help, I wear 8.5 & the 8.5 timberland wheelwright's fit me, a tiny bit snug but 'give' with wearing them. if you want to wear thick socks go 1/2 size up or if your feet are wide. you can google the name of these boots and click on timberland.com and find out the difference in wide or regular calf. they are selling a size 8.5 black on the e site. the seller accepts offers
bernijean
also there is a size 8.5 black wide calf sold on poshmark, see foreverdeals

Timberland Womens Wheelwright Buckle W/calf Boot

Thanks for helping me out after my confusing comment and no response! I wear a size 8. Sounds good to go a half size up. My Frye boots calf is 14". Little snug with thick jeans. Leggings fine. May stretch them. Timberlands look a bit stiff. The Timberlands must be 14.25 or so around the calf. I like the 15" ht. Are you comfortable buying these boots on Poshmark? I need to decide before they are gone! Hope to find at a store here Minneapolis??

hi, i am just a buyer on poshmark, but was trying to help. I have a pair of the timberland brown ones size 8.5 for sale on a different site (that begins with an M) they are the regular calf 15.5" circumference. I can make you a deal if you want them! I am selling them elsewhere b/c I don't have a cell phone and have to use the computer to sell online.
bernijean
@jadiewoods there is a pair on poshmark for sale in an 8.5 black, and on two other sites! do a search and find them, you don't have to keep searching.
bernijean
IMPORTANT if you bought these by this name on ebay "Timberland Wheelwright Tall All Fit M/M Boot Womens- 8.5 Black NIB T4" -
that is the boot you were looking for! they are real leather! and they are the wide calf version! the "all fit' is another name for "wide calf" they will be a bit wider in the calf but more room for your pants to be tucked in and socks.
bernijean
did you get your boots and how did they work out? thanks
jadiewoods
@bernijean I ordered the boots from ebay. the box came with a big hole in it covered with cellophane. they had a musty smell and did not like the black. I could never wear anything with a musty odor. Seller was nice and didn't want them back I got rid of them. Can't take that smell. the cloth in the boot us the culprit! I ended up with timberland plain custard boot. long name..Meyecouirer?
jadiewoods
and I really like then!!
jadiewoods
thank you! How about you?
bernijean
oh, no. if you order an item from ebay and it is damaged (even by must odor) you can still file for a return. never listen to the seller. you could have returned those and got a refund. see below it is from ebay customer support:
bernijean
"If the item you received arrived damaged, doesn't match the listing description, or if it's the wrong item, you're covered under the eBay Money Back Guarantee. You can return it even if the seller's returns policy says they don't accept returns." You file the return under the listing and call ebay customer support and they will help you get your money back.
bernijean
if you already discarded the boots you can call your bank! and ask for the claims department! tell them you received a damaged item and the seller refused a return! they can reverse the funds. you tell them over the phone what happened, and they will investigate, and you can receive you money back.
bernijean
you might have to fax them the evidence, such as the copy of the emails that you sent to the seller asking for a return, and the seller's refusal! cut and copy the emails onto your own email! and then print a copy! and send it to the bank, or take it to your local bank and ask it they will fax it to the customer claims dept. for you.
bernijean
If I were you I would call the bank and ask for the claims department and ask to reverse the charges. pull up your ebay account the the purchase history and give them the information about the purchase, and the emails where the seller refused a return, and explain you had to throw them out b/c of the bad musty odor! you could still get a refund from your bank!
bernijean
i called ebay customer support: here is the item: Timberland Wheelwright Tall All Fit M/M Boot Womens- 8.5 Black NIB T4

if this is the item call ebay customer support at 1 (866) 540-3229 and get the Transaction Number from the item from ebay.
bernijean
you can file a claim 2 ways: 1. through your bank or 2. call ebay.

@bernijean Sorry! I skipped a piece! She refunded me quickly because I left a negative comment about recieving it late, large hole in box and didn't answer my questions beforehand. Guess her daughter did it cause she was on vacation. She asked if I would redo my review. It was a very positive experience! She was Super! She said that with Cyberspace. No worries. Sorry about that. Again, thank you for being so nice!!! Take care!
bernijean
if your bank has a claims department for bad purchases of defective items, it might be easier to just file a claim with your bank.
bernijean
oh, that is great! here I was worried b/c you did not get yoru refund! never mind all of this, was trying to help you get a refund and you already got one! lol. thanks
