Hi, I purchased the Tory Burch straw sandals. It wasn't apparent to me that the right shoe heel had a stain & watermark. In the pics, it looked like it may have been a lighting challenge and the listing didn't indicate damage. It's very obvious in person. Can we work this out?
jrteper
@everydivastyle the right heel? I'm not quite sure what you mean. I did not notice any damage on the shoe. Would you be kind enough to send me a picture of what you are talking about?
jrteper
There wasn't any damage or "water mark" on the shoes when I sent them to you.
everydivastyle
@jrteper I just picked them up from the front porch 10 min ago. And you can see the watermark in your pics. I just thought it was a lighting issue. The left shoe heel is perfect. Where can I send the pics?
jrteper
@everydivastyle I think you are referring to the fading on the shoe, from being worn. That is natural for a shoe that has been worn. It is not a water mark. Look at any other pair of used Tory Burch Thora Thongs on this site and you will see the same thing. It is not "damage" by any means.
jrteper
Can't you copy and paste a pic here?

I just found two other examples of this shoe with the sMe normal sign of wear. I would like to send them to you for reference. Where can I send them?

Here's a great example:

I hope these photos of the same "marks" on other Poshers' listings will help you understand what you mistake as "water marks" is actually just a normal sign of wear on this type of shoe. Please let me know if you need anything else 😊
everydivastyle
@jrteper No, I'm not able to
everydivastyle
@jrteper Okay, but you indicated the shoes were worn about twice. The mark is not fading. There is a clear, dark outline of a stain. Otherwise, the coloring is consistent.
jrteper
@everydivastyle please read my comments above and please check out the links to other poshers' listings of the same shoe and you will see the same sort of "fading" at the heel placement area that you are mistaking to be water marks. The links are perfect example. Thanks! 😊
jrteper
The links I pasted above don't seem to work. I will post screenshots of these other sellers' items on the same page as my original listing for this shoe. You can go there to view them. Thanks!
jrteper
@everydivastyle there is absolutely no stain. Look at the other pics I am about to post. It is fading. In the shape of a heel. Thanks!
jrteper
It's not letting me post additional photos bc the item has sold. I am happy to email you if you like. But, why don't you go ahead and search for Tory Burch Thora flip flop, particularly one being sold by "apeksens" and "christinadinat" and you will see the same exact fade pattern, and even more so faded.
everydivastyle
@jrteper The shoe I have is the Carina. It is a wedge, not a flip flop. There is one other listing for the same shoe and the heel looks completely different than this one...no stains or discoloration.
jrteper
@everydivastyle oh! I thought you were talking about the Thora! Yes, well there's not damage on those wedges. I really only wore them 2 times for a couple of hours and they were stored in the original box . They were too high for me. There's no "water mark" on them at all.
jrteper
I just looked at the pics and this darker area is clearly and consistently visible in all the photos and is just natural variation with the wedge material itself. These shoes were never wet. Horizontally. In one isolated spot. It's simply the material of which the wedge is made.
everydivastyle
@jrteper That could well be true but it looks like a stain to me. If I'd have seen them in a store, I wouldn't have purchased them. I'm sorry.
jrteper
@everydivastyle it's ok. But the darker portion was visible and you did purchase them without inquiry as to the origin. I maintain it is a natural occurring variation in said material and not damage. Anyway, I just submitted a response to your claim. Thanks and take care now.

@jrteper Hi Jamie, quick question on the hudsons, have to ask how worn are they and have they been cleaned? Sorry but buying for someone who lost everything I a house fire and trying f to pull together a wardrobe
jrteper
@mhaley0512 hi. They were worn very rarely I'm not sure what you mean by "have they been cleaned?" Any time they were worn they were properly laundered. Let me know if you have any other questions!
