@grapeminds thank you again. I greatly appreciate all your help! I do have 1 question if u don't mind. What supplies are absolutely essential to get started? As I'm sure most people start on a budget, that sure describes me. I would love to set up a home photography studio with multiple backgrounds, and hopefully will later, but is that essential to be successful? Shipping supplies, poly mailers, shirt bags, and thank you stickers, or notes are on my list.

@jamie6276 You definitely don’t need a big outlay to get started! If you have a hardwood floor or table in a place with good lighting you can use it for your photos. Use the post office’s free priority mail boxes for shipping. You can buy thank you cards 8/$1 at the dollar store, and they also have tissue paper for cheap if you want to use it. The plastic bags for inventory can be purchased from amazon. I think I paid $29 for 400 bags (100 each of 4 different sizes).

@monikens hi Julia. Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve had a lot of technical issues including not being able to reply to comments, trouble listing, etc. hopefully all is working now. Thanks for your offering to help. It’s greatly appreciated! I’ve got a couple listings up, but no luck yet. :(. Do men’s clothing sell well on here? Seems to dominated by women, which is fine, just wasn’t sure if men shop on here. Thanks again!

@jamie6276 yes men sell and buy her as well. I have men’s apparel in my closet and have had several buyers. So hang in there. Remember the more you share items in your closet and share some of your follower’s items, the more sales you will have.

@jamie6276 I have had luck with men’s items on here... I sold a bunch of short sleeve shirts and shorts this past spring/summer. Make sure that you share your items on a regular basis. You also want others to share your items as well to get them in front of their followers. Let me know if you have any more questions!
