msneverending1 Jane just wanted to stop by and thank you so much for following my closet & sharing My Vintage Avon Gold Opal Necklace With Matching Earrings. This was the first Jewelry Set that Avon made in 1963 & they were giving jewelry sets away free to customers buying their products. The Trademark was a circle with a dot in the middle. By 1973 customers wanted to buy just their jewelry sets, so they changed the trademark to Avon.

I have a pair of Avon tigers eye earrings that I bought new in the 70's … they are small but still just as pretty as when I bought them, need to look at them again, they may be 14K.
