janex01 @cctennis Hi you noticed. 😋 thank you for so persistently sharing my closet (which consisted of a whopping 2 or 3 things)! Now I need to pack the box as nicely as you did and hope I don’t disappoint my buyer. How exciting! There is a first to everything. Wishing you many many more sales to come as well! 🙏👌👍👏 I’m trying to find the right balance between selling here versus donating to Goodwill but it’s kind of nice to know that here, I know for sure a good item is not going to landfill.

janex01 @cctennis somehow I missed this from you!! :) I just haven’t had the time to list more. There are a bunch of other new or near new things that someone else could make good use of. However frankly it’s not been easy selling here - buyers are looking for deep discounts on just about anything and I’m not willing to give away something new or pretty much new. I did manage to slim down just enough to fit back into a great J. Crew blazer that I listed! LOL.

cctennis @janex01 I know, people will try to get a bargain here but keep on counter offering them, the right buyer will come along. At the beginning it was not easy for me either but the more you share the more you will sell. Keep on following more people and try to share your items during Posh Party so you can reach more audience. Also, list anything so you can have more items in your closet. Buyers out there are more likely to shop where the closet has more than 20 items! Let me know if I can help!

My philosophy on this site is to give people what they come to Poshmark for - bargains - and if it’s a name brand, a good price that won’t break their budget… the same way I buy so many things from Poshmark now for the whole family. Lucky I’m doing this only to clear out my closet and have funds to buy something else… I think it may have to be a whole different way of thinking if I need to make a profit from this too - not easy considering what Poshmark takes!
