janelpickens67 @angela1978 Thank you! How do they think they will receive the money if I never receive the item? I’m new on this site and not sure how they would scam someone.

angela1978 @janelpickens67 two possibilities. Either the scammer doesn’t know how Poshmark works (that items $500 and over go directly to Poshmark for authentication before they get paid) or the scammer convinces the buyer to send money outside of Poshmark. Stick to trusted sellers with good feedback and you’ll be fine!

janelpickens67 @angela1978 Thank you! Yes she tried to get me to pay on FB Marketplace to offer me a lower price and save her on fees, however, she can’t do math because she would have made more on this site even after the 20% they take than she would on FB Marketplace. Weird thing is, I must be blocked because I tried to comment to make buyers beware and it says I can’t comment on her. I appreciate you warning me. Have a great evening!
