erinhporter Hi. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your frye boot purchase. I have a 5 star rating with customers so wasn't trying to sell you something you would be unhappy with. I'm not sure what the issue was but frye boots are supposed to be distressed and worn looking. That distressed look and quality of course, is what makes the boot expensive.

erinhporter I'm just letting you know that in case you want to purchase another pair. You might have the same issue if you don't like the worn look. The boots you purchased were worn about 10 times and bought last year so there wasn't excessive use. Happy holidays!

mikamouse61 @erinhporter @erinhporter hi, Let me start by saying, I know shoes. It is my thing. I understand they are used yada,yada, yada. The problem was...I was not expecting them to look like the worn was covered, there were brown spots underneath and it looked so wrong. I did notice that someone asked you why you had them polished when they really should have not been, you never answered her, now I know why.

mikamouse61 The photos you took of f them, hide that issue, that is what bothered me, at least if I knew, I would not buy....simple. There was another pair half the price, and I now have lost out on that pair. If these were say...50 bucks, sure I get that. But for 145? I might as well buy new. Which is what I will do. Your ad I found misleading, it should have mentioned the discoloration on them. Vintage look, I get, not this look....it was wrong.

mikamouse61 Most people may not care, but I'm way to particular on my shoes. I have never entertained the idea of used boots. I will not do it again. When I sell, I let them know if there is an issue than they can make up their minds. Oh, and they smelt like mothballs. So there were out of the box for about 5 minutes for photos...they are now taped back up and I'm bringing to post office today.

erinhporter I'm very sorry as you are clearly very upset. I wasn't trying to cover anything up and there were no issues to disclose. Really. They are the antique black distressed boot. No brown spots, no moth balls. Again, I'm sorry but happy you able to get your refund. 👍

mikamouse61 @erinhporter it's cool, I was just able to get them brand new, and the taller ones for 250. So they were 100 off. I will have them Friday. It's ok....I guess I'm not good at used shoes😂I tried! Lol ( Christmas gift to myself) take care! No worries

shopwitheileen WHY? You ask! Remember it takes ALOT of time to source, photograph, list, package & ship these goodies! Also Poshmark takes 20% from sellers! Some sellers have items that are RARE or hard to find .... Supply + Demand = Price! Good things to consider when making offers! Some sellers block for lowball offers! Happy Shopping!
