I just came back from picking up your bag. I had taken it to my local shoe repair shop because he said he also does luggage and purse repairs. I had hoped he would be able to repair the spring / lever on your Coach bag. I had noted the issue in the Posh post, but thought why not - wouldn't it be great if there was an easy fix.

He called yesterday saying he wasn't able to fix it. When I picked up the bag today, he said although he wasn't able repair the spring lever, he had polished up the leather on the bottom. I was astonished. He dyed the white stitching on the bottom black!
