yettismom @wolfemom65 Yetti came to me with the name as I’m his sixth home... what a perfect name for yours & im so sorry for your loss! I don’t know what I’ll do when I lose my baby. He came to me as a rescue the day before I lost my chow chow. I’m a Pyrenees Mom for life I think! 🐾💛 I would die to see a picture of your guy!

wolfemom65 @yettismom I think it takes a special person to be a pyrenees person. They are very misunderstood. Gandy was a rescue as well as he weighed 200lb. I'm not in the position to have one now but who knows what the future holds. I'll try to get you a picture. The wolf on my closet is his sister, an Artic Wolf. She was the alpha even though he was double her weight. Gandy thought he was a lap dog. ..lol

yettismom @wolfemom65 she is BEAUTIFUL!!! My family has always wanted a wolf as they are Siberian Husky people. We live in Florida & have a big wolf rescue in the northern part of the state- I want to go so bad to see the beauties! Both misunderstood- wild & GPs! Yetti is just a little guy at 115 lbs... he was less than 100 when I got him! He has had some set backs in life but love, trust & some expensive therapy gave him a new life with me 💛 whatever it takes...

wolfemom65 @yettismom I wish there were more people like you who are willing to give the care needed but then again you are a special education teacher so helping those who are unique comes naturally to you. Before I retired I was a social work administrator who managed a problem for behaviorally challenged children so worked closely with the special education staff in schools.

wolfemom65 Wolves need very special treatment and can be difficult unless you get them as puppies. They are very different from dogs or even hybrids which is why so many end up in shelters or euthanized. If your family wants to get one have them spend a lot of time at the Santuary talking with the staff before getting a wolf. If you're willing to give them what they need they can be the most remarkable companions you'll ever have, human or animal!
