this_quis @jasonbrooks Lol tell me about it! The algorithm is pretty tough to please, you have to be very active and responsive to potential buyers as well as your seller. I was super unmotivated after my 2nd week on because I wasn’t getting any activity (aside from follows and shared) then I asked around and found out that this app requires you to be super active; following, sharing, commenting and liking items. I feel exactly where you’re coming from though!

jasonbrooks @this_quis so In order to have a chance to sell, you just have to use the app? It sounds interesting and time consuming but I’m down to try. Also what’s the deal with sending out purchases ? I’m confused about the postage situation.

this_quis @jasonbrooks Yeah it’s a tedious deal😅 you need to share your listings as well as share other people’s (so they can share yours back). Then follow EVERYONE (no matter whether they sell anything you’re interested in or not). The goal is to be seen.(1/2)

this_quis The more followers you have the more your items get seen when they are shared. When others share your stuff their followers see it. This can cause a ‘snowball effect’. Answer questions as soon as you can too. The algorithm rewards poshers who are active a lot. (2/2)

this_quis So sharing your listings, adding new ones, resisting stale ones and sharing/following others is really it. As for shipping once you make a sale you get an email, which has a printable shipping label attached to tape to a USPS priority mail box. It’s “ethical” to ship within 1-2 days buuut you really have a week to ship.

shiizznyt @this_quis so if clothing still has the tag on it and never worn .... how much is the normal amount on here to price the item at in comparison to the full price? Like 50% or 25% off or $20 less than the ticket??

this_quis @shiizznyt To be honest it’s up to you. Since the product hasn’t been worn there is no drop in its overall value. You can put “NWOT (New without tags)” in the item’s description to state that the item is new and unworn. As far as price setting, you can price it as if it had its original tags. I hope this helped you!
