halmaroposh You won’t believe it. My husband left Thursday with the ring on from our house. Got all the way to Florida in a rental vehicle. Checked into the hotel across from the hospital where my father is and realized he had lost the ring. I just asked him where it was it’s the Fourth of July he just came back and he was trying not to tell me. I actually cried. I really loved that ring. They don’t make it the same anymore.

halmaroposh Found the jewelry store in Massachusetts where we can purchase two more of this beautiful ring. Thanks. We love it so much that we’re gonna have a new ones made for each other as an anniversary gift. See this ring was meant to be. If it weren’t for you, we would’ve never knew it existed. We live close to the lighthouse in North Carolina got married on the millennia and go there for our anniversary when possible.

ackjayne @halmaroposh Happy July 4th! OMG…I am sooooo sorry to hear that you lost the ring…which one was it? The tri-gold twist or the Sterling Silver LOLA 1*4*3? How very sad but yes! I am a firm believer that everything happens for a specific reason, albeit good or bad. And, that out of something sad or bad, something good will happen. Where in MA did you find a store to make these rings for you? If it was the LOLA 1*4*3 ring, their headquarters is outside of Boston.

halmaroposh It was the low life not to try Gold, thank goodness. We were excited to find the Lola company in MAA. They’re the only ones that have the white band with the madly engraved inside. The good thing is we like it so much we’re going to have them made for us and order them today. We’re headed to our jeweler to make sure we get the right size.

halmaroposh My husband had it on his pinky. He never took it off since the day it arrived at our house after I gave it to him. He absolutely loves it. Being retired military. It’s more of a masculine piece. He likes it. So this is something we’re going to use his right hand ring Josh a lot of attention people are curious to its meaning.

halmaroposh We live near the lighthouse in NC.For our anniversary they let us go up first one New Year’s day. It was a special event. We have to take a boat over with a park ranger. A lot of the Nicholas Sparks books are written, and filmed here. Anyway, it has a lot of meaning to us and thank you again If not for you I would never have discovered this treasure.

halmaroposh The flapper in the back of the commode in his hotel room was broke, and he tried to fix it. That’s when he discovered it fell off. They change the flapper in the back of the commode while he was away eating breakfast with my brother. He came back to the room and searched and cannot find it but we are calling this morning.

halmaroposh If it didn’t get flushed, then whoever finds it, I hope it brings them, Good luck as it did us. They will have to Google to find out its meaning, and the story lives on. L O L. My husband was so distraught and upset about it. He didn’t want me to know. Was going to try to buy another. But I asked him where the ring was? That’s when he told me the story.

halmaroposh We got sized for new rings, and I’m ordering one also for myself. This worked out in a wonderful way.It bonded us even more together during this difficult time with my father . he is recovering and my husband is going to stay with him for two weeks as a retired Marine-drill instructor. He has given my dad, the inspiration, hope, and motivation to progress so well that he has fully recovered from stroke.

halmaroposh He regained use of his left arm face and leg. He can raise and move everything, and the blood clot disappeared. The nurses are so happy for him and it’s nothing short of a miracle? We have faith and believe in God, and give him all the credit. My husband has all the training and motivation to help a grown man pull forward. I am very thankful for all of you. I will never forget this Fourth of July.🙏🇺🇸😇

Your husband is a very special man and you two were made to be together! I have total respect and admiration for our men/women in service as if it were not for the sacrifices they have made, we would not be able to enjoy the liberties we have come to love. (and, sadly many take for granted)

ackjayne My Dad served in WW2 and decoded the German transmissions; my husbands Dad was a staff sergeant in the Philippines. My husband and I took a trip to visit Omaha Beach in France to pay our respects to those men and women who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy everyday. Our hearts and total respect go out to your totally amazing husband. It touches my heart that the LOLA ring, albeit it was sadly lost brought us all together.
