Ok this is where shares from your own closet kicks in...what you want at the bottom share first & what you want at the top (see first) share last...so kind of look at your closet & determine what sort of order (by dress, color, etc) & then start sharing...when you’re done go out of your closet & then go back in & it will be in the order you put it—- hope that makes sense lol

51twenty @jbird2108 Great question Jeani. It seems that POSHMARK has the top luxury brands selected to show up under that market. So, I would get creative and make a listing in my closet advertising luxury brands: list them / how they are available at 😏 60% off retail price. I would do a bit of direct marketing and tap on that brand name on your dress & size using the top filters and share everyone carry that brand. Make sure that listing is up top while doing so. 👍🏼🌟

51twenty Only if you plan on making signage ie: sale signs or anything with wording. You can always download it and us it as needed. It also has a collage maker. I use that for pictures. I will group 3/4 in one picture by using the collage. @jbird2108 Personal preference.

lajeani @jbird2108 the worst part is the gal had offered me a discount but I paid full price (Poshmark gave me some money back) & when I got them they didn’t fit! I gave them to my mom! Ok so when people make a bundle it’s your decision how much of a discount you give—I always look at what I will make—sometimes I only offer discount shipping or just lower price & they pay shipping

lajeani @sophystakated1 the best thing to do is wait, did PM give you a chance to explain? There’s always a chance that things can get damaged en route to the buyer. That being said, you may want to check out the list of prohibited items—it’s up to you completely but PM may not find in your favor if your item is something that is on that list (trust me I know that others may also have those things)

Ok so let’s get you going—I received the exact same advice that I’m giving you—I removed certain items from my closet because they were prohibited & you can’t get PA status if they are there, not only that PM can ban you from using the app! There are other apps where household stuff is sold—ok go to the tab on the far bottom right

51twenty Oh no. Certainly not a must but very helpful. If you’re sharing, instead of sharing random day in and out, select the brand you carry and the size you have using the filters. You will see everyone who has that size (potentially) wear that size and brand. Because we believe in share for a share, doing one or the other they USUALLY look. For shopping, using the filters let’s me put in the brand under shop my size and color I want and if I want it NWT & price range. @tanyrae

lajeani @tanyrae are you shipping PRIORITY MAIL? That is a PM requirement & the only way you are protected if it gets lost/damaged in shipping—no way it should take that long! & the shipping goes by when you take it to USPS & they scan it & it’s on the truck, same day

See what Carolyn says but I’m pretty sure yes about alterations...I had a slit closed up too & I undid it but my dress wasn’t as high-end as yours 😉...take the measurements on the inside for the busy & if the tailor left the material there instead of cutting away, let them know it can be taken out & try to measure/estimate how much...I have a day of measurements too 😉

51twenty @jbird2108 Measurements. Great question! So, exact is best. We are imperfect so, some take a picture of the tape resting in photos and do not write numbers. Others say approx 34”, if it has been altered state it so. Size 6 but altered. Waist is approx 25” bust 34” hips etc

lajeani @tanyrae usually**if you look at the wholesaler’s listing of the item in their store-they will usually say if you may use their photos—if not just shoot them a quick msg asking if ok...You know, it’s funny you say that—I was going to ask you why the A wasn’t there!
