renaeskidmore Hi Jeff, Howard you doing? I just wanted to mention about your silver plate lid ( not a frying pan). It had a bottom at one time it is a type Of cover, the bottom is probably has been lost or thrown out. You can not cook on silver. Sorry I just thought you would not mind a clarification.
