mstre53209 The $250 striped Gucci belt fashionnewyork is selling is DEFINITELY fake! Belts with numbers beginning with 1212 are fake, the size is NEVER stamped by itself on the end like a fraction (36/105) & directly below the thin piece of leather near the buckle is a screw/metal stud that's used to attach the buckle to the strap. Authentic Gucci belts are sewn in that area. Search YouTube for "fake Gucci belt" video by Jase M or Google "Gucci belt 1212". That belt isn't worth the $7.11 shipping fee.

mstre53209 You're welcome. You have to be VERY careful when buying Gucci belts (and other luxury items) on here & other apps as well as "e B a y." I'd guess that more than half are fake. The newer replicas/fakes that are out now are better quality & don't have the old dead giveaway features that I mentioned earlier. There are a lot of scammers (like "773deals138w"), and most of the brand new belts shown with boxes, dust bags & price tags are fake.

mstre53209 Also, be suspicious of anyone who has multiple brand new luxury items for sale & especially if they're selling the stuff far below the price you see on the designer's website. If you see white gloves or USPS shipping packaging in the pictures, or a phone number for you to send a text message, it's probably safe to assume the stuff is fake.
