Hi! I'm Jen. Thanks for stopping by! This all started with cleaning out my own closet. Then I discovered my love of thrifting, and searching for cool pieces. And why the name @greyseattle? Because my little boy is named Grey, and he was born in nearby Seattle. So it made sense to name it after my littlest love. My home is very clean, smoke free, and pet free. Feel free to say hi! swales99 I lived in Seattle once for 16 months. On the day I arrived in January, it was cloudy and drizzling. A couple of weeks later, on the day I began my job, it was cloudy and drizzling. The dismal weather went on for days. Finally, I asked a coworker "Hey, when's this rain supposed to stop?" She replied, "In July." I thought she was joking. As it turned out, she wasn't.

But then the sun comes out and the gorgeous scenery makes you (kind of) forget about the rain 😉😂 my name on here is actually because my sons name is Grey, and he was born in Seattle 😊 we live half an hour north. swales99 When I left Seattle, I moved to Iowa. I figured that was about the same distance from the equator as Boston, where I grew up, so no problem -- Iowa would likely have the same weather. How wrong I was. One winter, the temperatures never went above zero and for two weeks it was minus 35 degrees with a windchill of minus 75. Luckily, we got relief in the summer when all we had to worry about were frequent tornadoes, deluges of rain and rivers that overflowed so badly the President showed up.

swales99 In Seattle, we had perfect weather all of July and August, so I know what you mean. It was sunny, but not too hot. I remember jogging around Green Lake and the area was packed with bikers, walkers, runners, boarders and sun worshipers. Everyone was in a great mood and they were thoroughly enjoying the outdoors.
