barrettcarter Hi.. re the ring: I do not think it is synthetic.. I bought it at a local arts and crafts event in 2009.. I paid quite a bit for it.. I am sure I asked the seller .. but I never brought it anywhere to have it verified .. garnets are my grandmothers birth stone .. and somehow over time I have gathered quite a few of them .. 🤗
