jenny_ann614 @retrospectives Hi Victoria! Thanks. My experience has been pretty good so far. Still learning the ropes, so to speak. Wow Dayton to Biloxi, that's quite the move! I do have a question! I noticed on one of your dresses that you said it was rare. How do you find out if a dress is rare? Thanks!!

supergeeked @jenny_ann614 Actually, I'm from Biloxi orginally. Long story but I moved to Dayton with a band when I was 20. Ha! So, as for rare items. Rare for Modcloth and other vintage inspired brands is generally a design that is rarely seen on the secondary market. You can quickly find that out when you do a little research. Search the web to see if you can find it selling on Poshmark or any other platforms.

supergeeked @jenny_ann614 If it is hard to find, you can't even find stock photos, Modcloth has deleted the details (they generally keep up sold out styles unless they are really old), things like this will help you determine if you have a rare piece. If you see it selling a lot on other platforms than generally it is not rare.

supergeeked @jenny_ann614 On here, there is a couple of Modcloth resellers that are selling from the same source I get my dresses. They have some of the same styles but they are still rare. I just know where they got their rare dresses too. Ha!

jenny_ann614 @retrospectives Ahh, that all makes sense. Thanks for the intel :) I have found pinterest a valuable resource for finding stock photos. I actually just spent the last 20 or so minutes looking for a sugarhill boutique (now sugarhill brighton) dress stock photo that I'm about to add.

mondaysviolet Hi, just wanted to let you know that this 100% wool eco blanket by Pendleton is super awesome. You can wash it! It’s wool! This is still on the Pendleton site for $220 chose the Fawn color. Just beautiful. It will be an heirloom that will last for years if you fold it up in spring/summer months and put a cedar block or 2 inside your storage bag. Very nice. Excellent Condition.

mondaysviolet Hi. I have the Fawn Pendleton eco~wash blanket. It has never been used. We live in Texas and I thought having a washable wool blanket might come in handy for guests. But No!😆So I have kept them pristine and folded. For some blustery winter here in South Texas. I sold the Shale Blue one the other day- she was very complimentary. I put them up with cedar blocks in off season. Pristine blanket.
