sweetdesire2017 @mae1564 hi, I am very new at this and may need your help. I had a buyer who likes my dress and quickly asks for my address snd my name, so she can send me a check? Is that what happens? I do not think I want to give my address??? Please give me some ideas of what you usually do? Your help is greatly appreciated.

mae1564 @sweetdesire2017 Hi! You will often find that there are “scammers” or otherwise fake accounts on Poshmark. When you look at their comment, there is a place to reply and next to that is a small flag. Click that flag and report these comments as spam. Poshmark will take care of it immediately. But whatever you do, do not respond and DO NOT give them any of your info.

sweetdesire2017 @mae1564 so when they buy from you, how do you receive their payment? Do you create an account? Do you have them mail it to you? I appreciate your help.

mae1564 @sweetdesire2017 They are nothing more than a fake account. ALL transactions are strictly done through Poshmark. So when a sale is made, they make payment to Posh. From there, you ship it and it is tracked by the post office. Once their item is delivered they either accept it, or after 3 days the money is released to you. You have the choice from Posh to either have a direct deposit or a check mailed. But never attempt to take a transaction off of Poshmark, you will lose all protection.

mae1564 @sweetdesire2017 Thank you! From the home screen you will see your screen name at the bottom right hand corner. Click on that, and then click on My Payment Methods. In there you will be able to set up your choice of payment. When you make a sale, you can click on My Balance to redeem any monies earned and choose how you wish to receive payment.

mae1564 @sweetdesire2017 Yes, adding a credit card is so that you can shop and purchase from Poshmark. You don’t necessarily have to do that to be a seller, it just makes purchasing easier. Although, for some sellers, they just use their earnings to make purchases so that is an option as well.
