rescuelady3 Beautiful baby reminded me for a second of my pup I lost he was a black boxer. White chest a rare color when I rescued him and even a rarer Beauty. Miss him still. jenjordannyc @rescuelady3 I'm so sorry I just saw this message. I've never seen a black boxer very rare indeed. They are so good to us. I wanted to rescue but hubby didn't... We have a fawn cane corso puppy now he hopped into my bed this morning and slept on my chest. First time ever, reminded me of my old girl Suzy wherever I was she was right there. I want to support a rescue. Can you suggest one?

rescuelady3 Hello yes. My boy Duke was black they call it reverse brindle. At the time it was even rarer. He was amazing I lost him a little over a year ago. He had an incredible life of love One of many I had. I currently have a female cocoa my fifth rescue girl. But I’ve been involved in rescue for over 15 years and I’ve been with a few groups. Some are large others smaller.

rescuelady3 If your looking for a group to support specific to a breed like cane corso you can do that by searching for a rescue that specifically rescues that breed. Here on Long Island we have NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE they do. amazing work and just rescued many animals from puppy mills they take dogs from all over. It’s a wonderful group. My current group could always use donations. We’re called Second Chance Boxer Rescue..
