aflippanda Hi, I purchased your allsaints heeled boots and have received a notice from the post office that the package is being held for postage being due!?! No idea what the issue is as I've never had this happen before. I reached out to poshmark cs and they recommend refusal of the package so it will be sent back to you. At which point poshmark can reissue a new shipping label for reshipment. I will go to the post office tomorrow to what is going on.

zensultannyc @aflippanda Hi there! I've never had this happen either. Did they tell you what the amount of the additional postage is? It doesn't make sense to have the package returned to me then sent back out. I'm happy to pay for the additional postage. Please advise as to the fastest way to send you, posh or USPS the additional funds.

aflippanda @zensultannyc the slip of paper they left says $43.54, which is outlandish. I've shipped items overseas for less than that. It also says "priority label on priority mail express box" as a reason. Which makes no sense because it doesn't justify that price.

aflippanda @zensultannyc if you are willing to pay that amount, refunding through posh would be just fine. I'm going to the post office later today to try and get some more information. It just doesn't seem normal to me for them to do that, especially when it was already on the vehicle for delivery.

zensultannyc @aflippanda oh wow that sounds crazy. The shoes are less then 5lbs and I've used the same type of box and Posh's printed label to ship many shoes as well. I will open a ticket at Posh to see how to best resolve this for you asap.

aflippanda @zensultannyc it's insanity, I've gotten packages in actual garbage bags before with no issue. I'm hoping it's a mix up at the post office. The answer posh gave me seems a little unnecessary and time consuming. Hopefully they will be able to give you a better suggestion.

zensultannyc @aflippanda I opened a ticket and spoke to the post office. The flat rate for the USPS large box is max $19.50. They are asking for $14 or so. I asked if posh would deduct this from the sale. Haven't heard back yet. Sending it back and forth doesn't seem all that practical for the cost and the mail delays. I'm happy to have posh mediate a payment to you or send you the balance directly. Lmk what's best for you.

aflippanda @zensultannyc I just got off the phone with the post office. They said that it is in a priority mail express box and that I have to for the express fee off $43.54. I am absolutely livid, this woman hung up on me! I will be more than happy to provide you with a picture of the ticket they left. This is insane!

aflippanda I contacted the post office via the customer service number and they informed me that since it is in an express box it will be handled as an express package. I'm sorry but I have no other choice but to refuse the package as there is no way I am willing to pay that much just to get a package.
