I decided to list a few items with a lot more to add and could use advice. I’ve received a lot of likes on my items with one very low offer that I countered. When you list an item do you discount it after you get likes or wait a few days?

crazyposh Yes :) I’ve been selling on the app for 5 years now! Crazy!! But yes I price things a little higher at first so I have room to negotiate. I usually wait until I have 5-10 likes on something before I drop the price on it. :) if you look up on YouTube there are so many great videos on how tos, etc!!

It backs you into a corner. We newbies are easy targets. Think you were targeted by someone who wants to resell your bag for more money. I am pretty sure you can get closer to what you were asking before. I have seen really damaged Tory Burch bags asking 70 and up.

jnew36 @sijadoka when I first started I listed 40 items, took me a full weekend, but as I listed the items I ended up selling several. It took me a while to build up my listing, I still have more to list especially clothes, it can be time consuming. The way I do it now is I wait until I have 5-10 items to post at the same time, i've noticed the more I post when I post the more response I get. I had to take it to the jeweler because it showed it’s age, but they did a great job cleaning and polishing the ring to look as new as possible. jnew36 @mangoann my husband calls it an obsession, I call it a love for pretty jewelry (clothes, shoes, and handbags) lol. I had a huge problem with letting things go, I have 3 large full jewelry boxes and slowly letting go of the pieces I don’t wear so I can buy new pieces.

jnew36 @mangoann it was sooo hard at first, still is with a few things. When I first started I sold several of my Tory Burch bags that I used as closet decoration, that was a struggle. The biggest struggle was selling my LV bag, I knew I wouldn’t accept anything under 500.00, had it listed for 600. When I received the offer for 525.00 it took me a few hours to accept. That was the hardest item so far to let go.

jnew36 @mangoann I know, it was so bad. I did keep my big LV bag and wallet, I’ll never sell those. I sold a pair of my Louboutin shoes, wore them twice, that one was hard. Never got offers on posh (I wear a size 5). My assistant sells on eBay a lot, she put them for sale. it took 4 months to get an offer for 450.00 (they were being used as decoration also).

jnew36 @ceylon06 a lot of my jewelry is from my personal collection, a few items I’m selling for my sister and best friend. I started selling my handbags, shoes, and clothes. I will say I made a visit to goodwill and thrift stores, and clothes mentor. I found a few food things I made a little money from, then buying wholesale from posh. Of course name brand items sell well whether it’s handbags, shoes, or jewelry. Hope that helped, feel free to reach out anytime.

I would recommend changing your titles to start with the brand name “Nine West booties” and items that are new with tags I’d say “NWT” or if it’s new without tags use “NWOT”. Always start the title with the brand name only unless it’s NWT or NWOT. How many times are you sharing your entire closet?

jnew36 @ceylon06 not at once, it’s recommended to share your entire closet (minus sold items) 3-4x each day. I’ll share from my phone but it’s a lot easier doing it from my laptop. You will have to share each item one at a time, I have a lot of items, on my laptop it take me 10 minutes at most to share everything. You’ll want to keep your sold items at the bottom, if you’ll go towards the bottom of my closet you’ll see how I’ve set mine up.

shortydoucette @jnew36 ok I ran into trouble finding @enchantedtreasures today too. I let them know about it. What you have to do is type in share group and scroll down to where you see it then in a couple of their chat rooms you ask to join and explain what you have and you can tell them that I referred you. That might help. They'll check out your jewelry and get back to you with an invite

kjax1 I realize that you cannot vouch for the condition after you sold it to me but I am hoping POSH can reach out to you and see that it was indeed in perfect condition. They allowed her to return the ring that I believe she swapped out or damaged simply to get the return.

kjax1 That sounds crazy I know - but she tried to cancel the sale after I had shipped it so I believe this is simply a case of buyers remorse. Sorry for the long narrative but I am just a very conscientious seller and this has been very upsetting.

I know that was not the case when I sold it to her - upsetting and disappointing that Posh could not see that the buyer tried to cancel the sale and simply had buyers remorse - she going to get out of the sale no matter what - is my thinking

I have so many clothes I want to sell but finding time and getting the details to list them is a lot. Just make sure you share your closet 3-4 time daily, that’s how you get more followers and likes ☺️
