veras_stash @jenlalerner no, I don’t know how old these are but they are vintage. Most likely from the late 50s early 60s. I made jewelry in the past and when I purchased beads or supplies I generally had an idea at the time of purchase which decade my supplies came from because I preferred working with vintage beads - so that’s my best guess for these. They’re beautiful beads and it’s so much fun to create new pieces with touches of vintage. Have fun😊

jenlalerner Nothing wrong with the stone. What you see are the natural aspects of the stone. Rose quartz is a microcrystalline quartz; it can show both asterism(star effect) and chatoyancy(cat's eye effect.) Cloudiness is also normal. Yes, it is a somewhat fragile stone, due to some internal inclusions that occur in rose quartz and many other stones.. It must be handled carefully, not dropped onto a hard surface etc. Thank you for your concern.
