lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 Please don't laugh...the crossbody strap is wrapped in a dryer sheet...my biggest pet peeve is how things smell when they come out of those plastic bags...so hopefully that will make it more fragrant! My husband & I went to an estate sale of a retired Priest, he was IMMACULATE in the way it was stored, hung, EVERYTHING was dry cleaned & tailored to fit. All high end vintage....BUT his house had been closed up for 3 years & you know that smell it gets...yep, that smell. Thanks again, I hope you are satisfied. (you may get today?) Thanks again. T

I'm new to Poshmark. I just kind of type in what I'm looking for. That's the way I browse. What is a closet? I thought maybe you could give me some information on that if you have time? No rush getting back to me. I just seen that you invited me to visit your closet and I wasn't sure what it is.

I hope this helps...a closet are the items people have for sale, like an online store, Poshmark is the place you can clean your "closet" & others can "shop" your closet. When you "follow" someone they will probably say "thank you for following..." cont. in next message can only do 500 characters

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 @jenmullins66 If you follow they will try to get you to return to their closest/store. If you like something❤the seller gets a message & they will sometimes send you a "deal" or offer & usually will include a shipping discount (which comes out of the sellers profits). BUNDLE allows you to put items you like from a person's closet. Some will offer discounts more you bundle. You can offer or they can offer. You can also talk with with via bundle messaging.

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 (part 3) When sending an offer remember a "lowball" offer is usually not accepted & some will not even look at them (more than 30% off the listed)... be friendly & communication is always helpful when negotiating. I noticed whenever I purchase from Poshmark, I get a stamp on the box that has Poshmark on it. So I'm assuming you order a kit or something from them to get started that includes postage?

jenmullins66 Thanks for telling me about lowball. I don't want to be insulting to anyone. I'm just getting the hang of all this. Also, when you bundle in someone's closet, does that save on postage?. I know when you order from multiple closets you pay separate postage fees and it can get quite expensive. And one last question. I have been receiving a lot of offers from different people that includes lower postage. Is it customary to respond to every one of them by declining the offer if I'm not interested?

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 I thank you for the compliment about being an Ambassador ❤. Great questions... yes, you save when you bundle, you pay only one $6.49 for shipping. But it does have to be from the SAME closet, otherwise you are correct it can be expensive. If you like someone's item you (and everyone else that liked that item) will get an offer with a discounted shipping, the discounted shipping does come out of the seller's profit.

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 (#2) you will also get a discounted offer if they permanently lower the price, this will not have a discount shopping. Each person selling buys own shipping bags/boxes (but it is FREE from USPS)but most that sell a lot will purchase colored bags, etc. Everyone is different you can buy sticky labels for shipping or I just print on paper & use clear packing, depends on how much $$ you want to spend. lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 (#3) I used to wrap with tissue & ribbons & a card... but that got expensive especially when you sell a lot under $10 (Poshmark's fee is $2.95 under $15 & 20% of anything $16 higher) I do like to wrap w/tissue & notes if time...boy I hope I wrote you a note😊.

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 (last one, I think) NO, you do not have to decline them all b/c they are sending out offers to every liker & sometimes there are over 300 likers (not mine, I get excited when I have 15 likes❤🤣). When you do receive the item you will get a message asking you to "accept" the item, when you accept that releases the seller's money. When you purchase an item the seller does NOT get their $$, it sits in a holding until the buyer accepts or 3 days after it was delivered...

I imagine you get the hang of it real quick. The thing that confuses me is the postage label that comes on on my Poshmark purchases. They are the same from every seller. So when you go to the Post Office, do they have a certain label they print for Poshmark purchases?

jenmullins66 And with the postage being the same amount on all my purchases, how does that work with the post office. Because they usually weigh everything and my postage is always different depending on what I'm sending. Or do you run everything out on your own computer? I'm from the generation of typewriters. LOL. So anything that involves a computer always scares me. But I am slowly learning.

Just curious to know if I could make a pretty good living selling on Poshmark? I know it probably takes quite a while to get going and build up an income. I do have a husband that works but it takes at least two incomes to survive in this world anymore. It does seem like it's fun.

lovingmyclothes @jenmullins66 Hi. I couldn't say I make a great living. But definately is a boost to the income. It is slow going at the beginning & it depends on what you are selling & how much you spent. Eventually I invested in a cheap mannequin & colored mailer bags...but not until later.
