@wlew We did! My daughter started out at the winter classic! Her first year at 10 she was circuit champion in her division❤ The 7 week show starts this Wednesday! We event now, so not doing it this year! I showed in Wellington in the early 90's! I love it there! What a beautiful place to live!!!! Did you do hunter/jumpers?

@jennifer_gillis I went to LEC in the 70’! It is a small world! Yes I did hunters at the end of my riding in Wellington, was circuit champ 4 times in the 3’3 A/O’S. When I was growing up I did jumpers also. My parents owned Dorchester Farm in Kirtland Ohio, you may of heard of it? Wonderful way to grow up, horses are amazing. I have 2 one retired in Franklin Tn, and the other is with a family in painsvilles.

Go to PM and open a case for return items not as described and just comment that yours and the other buyer labels were mixed up. PM will process it and get the other ones back to me. Since you don’t need yours until the 18th, the other buyer is already in the process of returning it and I’ll get it out ASAP.

I have a friend that lives on West Bluff that we spend alot of time with and care for her horses when she needs help, so the Grand Hotel is our "neighbor" when we are up there! it's our most favorite place in the world! I actually grabbed this for my mom for Christmas🙂 She tells me everytime we are on the Island to find her one and I do not think they sell them any longer!!! So I was thrilled to find it!!!! Thank you so much😘

@jennifer_gillis thank you I would appreciate the measurements. they all look like they are in good condition. horse stuff, just curious if have any rope halters. I'm new at the horsing game lol and I am trying to work on getting a skiddish horse to let me put on a halter. need something gentle.

@mturn2 honestly I never use rope halters so i do not have any. part of the reason is i personally think they are harder to get on and if anything goes wrong they will not break. I have used them for horses that pull back and break halters as a habit, but as a last resort.

@mturn2 Hey! I'm so sorry it took awhile and in that time someone bought the Simply Southern. But, that one was tiny for a medium! I dont think it would have worked anyway! Honestly, I do not know if um measuring right...the other both are 24? but the green fits me and zips and I wear large and extra large. The tan next to the green it's about the same. safely fit an 8-10. The material is also stretchy, but even on me the green wasnt a tight fit.

Salvador the Artist donates his paintings for auction on yearly basis in honor of his mother-in-law for cancer research. The last painting he painted sold for $7,000. he is exceptionally gifted. I will post other paintings that I have from my collection.

I live only two hours away in the UP so would LOVE to ride on the island if I could find English - so let me know if these were horses you rented - because I thought they were all Western. @barbybennett Our friend lives on West Bluff and we "horse sit" when she is out of town! These are her horses that we work with. It's our most cherished place in the world! There are a couple rental places on the Island, but your best bet would be to contact the equestrian center if you want to ride english and see if they have something.

@barbybennett We are usually already there or getting ready to go. But we havent shipped the horses up from their winter home at my trainers in Ocala,FL. Islands still quiet right now due to Covid, so alot of the summer residents are spending a bit longer at their winter homes.

I have not been to the island for a few years now but agree that it is just a magical place and have always wanted to see it from the back of a horse. I just recently discovered there is a girl only a few miles from me that teaches dressage - to find English anywhere in the UP is uncommon

@barbybennett I specialize in dressage and the Friesian breed, so it has been a perfect fit! And yes, the Island on horse back is pure bliss!!! We go out for hours! there are so many trails! Equestrian center is inland past the airport and Wawaskimo golf course!!!

I grew up riding - mostly just jumping at a hunt club in southern MI but have not ridden that much since college - I took some dressage lessons when we lived in Maryland but after moving to the upper peninsula in 1984 I have not ridden more than a few times. But I'm so intrigued by the center on the island!!! And this girl close to me in Rapid River. But even if these are fashion boots only they are GORGEOUS! Just bought them!

Our 40th wedding anniversary is coming up in the Fall and the Island is one place we have thought about! Since international travel is just not gonna be an option now. Great thing about these boots is they do not scream riding boots like my tall black field boots do or even my other Spanish boots do. But a good sole for lots of walking, like around the Island since we tend to stay away from downtown. This has planted a seed in my brain for September now! And yeah - can't WAIT to see the boots

@barbybennett The Island would be PERFECT for your anniversary!!! And yes...these boots are crazy comfortable! I wore them at the Rolex three day in Kentucky, we walked cross country 3 times, I believe my tracker was like 12 miles when the day was done, I was TOTALLY comfortable all day in them!!!

Hi Jennifer I thought I come on your page about the purse. She’s telling me that my Donney & Bourke purse didn’t have the cosmetic case and key ring in it when I sent it to her. Well I’ve had several D&B purses and not once did it come with a cosmetic case in it. Now I can’t get her to answer me and she’s holding over $100 of my money and a purse worth almost $400.

@kjjackson25 you need to file a complaint w Poshmark. especially if in your sale post that was not in or mentioned. that buyer is bad news. it took over a month for me to get my money, and PM paid it. zero communication with her, she never answered and I have no idea where my purse ended up...I. sure with her. and yep, it was worth well over $400. sounds like shes reached " felony" theft status...
