That was an unreasonable offer thats hard to be taken seriously. i had some students that needed shoes for an interviews...i gave the shoes for free...was there a reason you made a ridicously unrealistic offer? Please tell the truth!

see that u low balled several seller; If your are new to negotiation, People do business w people they like. They also do business w people they feel need what they r selling. i highly recomnend u tell your story on your profile "about" why u keep low balling people not the perception of u take advantage, u may have more success. Do u have a financial hardship? ..Im very philanthropic n Im sure others r as well....if this is applicable to u, please express.
