jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 I packed them and dropped them off. The shipping bag was oversized so it's folded and secured with extra tape. Please take care trying to cut it open so the jeans are not harmed. I tried to leave guidance on the bag but I was concerned it might wipe away in transit. Simply cut across the empty side of the package (, opposite the label) rather than trying to cut the tape for instant, safe access to the fun pop of color inside. Happy Spring refresh!

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 Hi - just checking in. I'm concerned about why the package isn't tracking yet so I submitted a note to posh support. I dropped it off on Sunday so can't understand why it's not yet active on the USPS system. Sorry for the delay.

jenniferharr343 @jaime_mc I am confused. How did you take a package to the post office on Sunday when the post office is closed? This is very suspicious to me. What is the tracking number? Do you have a receipt from the post office?

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 There is a secure interior drop box at our post offices here in Houston that is specific to packages, not letters. anything that already has postage (like Poshmark labels) goes right in 24-7. I use them all the time, and usually the result is it processes faster than if I waited for the post office to reopen on Monday morning.

jaime_mc This has never happened before. I dropped two packages in - one Poshmark and one a return of mine to a retailer. neither package has processed yet after many days. I called the post office yesterday but did not get any answers

jaime_mc I understand you are frustrated and disappointed. I am too. Poshmark relies on trust and I'm so sorry this delay is giving you concerns. I hope my reviews and shipping stats give you some confidence. I take care to ship the same day or next day whenever I can make it happen. I know when I order I love to see it heading my way fast.

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 We will be learning together. I notified posh support my package is "shipped but not tracking" and they said this does happen periodically where there are unexplained delays / human error at plthe post office. They encouraged me not to give up yet if I used the posh label (which I did).

jaime_mc I'm sure there is a way for you to cancel the order at a certain point if that is what you wish to do. I'm really not sure if the odds are greater than it makes its way to you, back to me, or anywhere. I can go in person to the post office tomorrow, my work schedule just hasn't allowed for a trip there yesterday or today.

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 The post office believes it could be stuck at the central clearing facility in Houston but cannot be sure. They said to file a formal lost mail report, but it must be 7 days without tracking scans before it's declared missing. The report includes the tracking number, your address, my address, and a detailed description of contents including a photo of contents. It instructs them to mail it on to you if found. That is ready to go now.

jaime_mc They also said that very rarely a package advances without scans (I found that harder to believe since there are usually at least 4 periodic progress scan points) but please do let me know if it just arrives without ever hitting the tracking system.

jaime_mc Posh support confirmed they have a ticket open on this order number but I haven't heard anything more from them. So sorry this has been so weird and frustrating. My fingers and toes are crossed it will turn up.

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 yes, it's drafted and ready to submit on Monday morning. The date rules in the contents of the form prevent submission until Monday morning - when the office would have opened.

jaime_mc @jenniferharr343 the report has been filed with USPS .. and you will see the status changed to "tracking" but it's not really tracking yet. I got all excited but then saw an email from Posh support that they manually changed the status in good faith. They asked that we both give it a few more days to be found hopefully this week. She did also confirm you will be able to cancel without penalty if it does not get moving soon.
