msetenyi @jenn1fer21970 hi Jennifer! I just read your message on another posher’s page about the LV bag you restored. Would you mind posting some pictures and tips on your page as a “not for sale”? I have a vintage LV Samuir crossbody that need a strap work and would like to do it myself before taking it to the cobbler. Thank you! 💗😊

jenn1fer21970 @msetenyi hi! Sure!! I’m out right now, I’ll do it when I get home. I’m pretty pleased with the results. I went to a cobbler(clearly not a good one) and he was all “get a new one!” I was so mad. I showed him a leather kit I bought for a sofa and he was super impressed. He bought the kit in front of me! I decided to be brave and try it myself. So glad I did! Cleaned up a Sara Wallet too. Came out awesome! Should have taken before pics…anyway…I’ll post later!

msetenyi @jenn1fer21970 no rush, just whenever you get around it. I bought the LV crossbody in April…so clearly I am not in a rush 🙈🤪😂 already went to 1 cobbler but they are so slammed with work it would take him about 6-8 weeks and LV store is about 4-6month. 😳

jenn1fer21970 @msetenyi how much did they want at cobbler and LV?? Pics are up! I still have some touch ups but overall very pleased! I snapped a pick of the kit-got it from Amazon $20.

msetenyi @jenn1fer21970 the cobbler quoted me around $400-$450 and LV would be around $900+ to replace all the vachetta and strap. Probably will not spend that much on it. 🙈🤪
