mtherofpearl77 @ttarney absolutely! So you design these yourself? I am a Yoruba priestess and I can see people in my religious community possibly being interested. Are you familiar with Yoruba deities such as Yemoja (mother of fish) Ochun Goddess of Love? Hmm would you be able to create these inspired by the Orishas? I added you to my instagram lets chat there if this is something you think would work?

ttarney @mtherofpearl77 Yes I am the licensed designer for textiles. Sometimes I keep designs for myself sell to brands like URBN other times I sell passive designs where other pay to use the design for manufacturing. Been to Mali Africa for the Festival Desert Concert in Sahara and was for a short time in South Africa and only recall little about what was shared but would love to know more! I will this weekend continue to look at links if you share so I can imagine design wise

ttarney @mtherofpearl77 and these are Jacquard loom textiles mostly organic cotton but have now been working a bit with bamboo also sustainable on beach towels this year. Example would be oranges 🍊 in my closet. But I’m an expert on Jacquard loom designs with Cotton. Bamboo is new to me and isn’t impossible to make with just not an expert yet

mtherofpearl77 @ttarney send me your email and we’ll connect. Here are some of the Orishas attributes Yemoja -Fish and ocean which you have! Ochun- river gold, mirrors colors yellow, gold coral. Chango- fire, color red, drums and wood. How about if I were to give you design ideas and you make the magic happen? Would that work too? Aside from my religious community, here in NYC where we have loads of festivals and pop up shops over the summer.
