mdaun Hi @crashdiagnostic I am the seller of the ivory J.Crew wedding dress. Because it was just posted yesterday, I wanted to quickly look it over before accepting your offer. Glad I did. I found two small marks (each smaller than a dime) at the hem of the dress. Before I accept your offer, I wanted to be sure you would want it with those small spots. I'm updating the listing and adding a picture now.

crashdiagnostic @mdaun thank you for checking! I don't think the marks would bother me but I'm worried that if it doesn't fit I may have trouble reselling it. Is there any way you could offer the possibility of a return within a certain time frame, in case it doesn't fit?

mdaun @crashdiagnostic Poshmark has an algorithm that makes taking returns count against the seller. I only learned this upon taking a return recently. I am willing, though, to drop the price of the dress to $75, if you would like. That seems fair given the marks on the dress. I do think the marks would come out with cleaning, but that would mean taking the tags off. If you would like it for $75, I'll accept your offer.

mdaun @crashdiagnostic I think you can cancel it and make another offer. Or, I think if you like the listing I can make a private offer to you. Or, if you are right here to buy, I can lower the price right now. I just don't want someone else to buy it out from under you.

luisabelle Hi there! Did you receive the dress? I sent it out on the 9th and I can’t track it. The post office assured me that you would still receive it by today, possibly tomorrow. Apparently the scan part of the label wasn’t scannable but it’s legible. Thanks and sorry about the confusion. I’ve never had this problem
