pjng1020 @beachbound nooo I'm so sorry 😱 I packed it in tissue and in a smaller box inside the other box I assure you it wasn't broken when I sent it if you like pick out another necklace and I'll ship it to you for free I don't think I have another one like that but I'll look give me till later on today

beachbound i think when it banged around it snapped. i have always wrapped necklaces in tissue like a tube to make sure they dont.. the box was crunched on outside but vs box was fine. the horsebit where the 2 tips meet, one of them snapped.. i think i can just make it shorter and take that horse bit out it is still about 18" with it pulled out... lemme find my needle nose pliers

sonnicariaso Hi!! I recently purchased the Cartier glasses from you but I'm having a bit of an issue with switching out the frames. The non prescription frames aren't seeming to fit, the holes don't align. Is there a way that you know how to put them on and maybe I am just doing it wrong or were the non prescription frames never fitted for these glasses?

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso 🤔 hmm well the frames came with the Cartier clear lenses the eye glasses place took them out because the prescription ones was specially fitted for my dad with the screws that are in the lenses 🤔 are you doing it yourself? Because I think a eye glasses place has to do it plus there are some extra screws in the bag did you try those?

sonnicariaso Hi. I'm the one who recently bought the Cartier glasses. I have taken it to a eye glass place and the lenses still aren't fitting. The actual Cartier frames are too big for the glasses. So I'm not really sure how to go about it. I want thes glasses but I would like the original frames to fit ):

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso I'm not sure exactly what your asking for those frames came with the clear lenses that have the Cartier symbol but the eye Dr or glasses place can make you clear lenses to fit the frames everything that I sent you is for those frames the lenses and screws but the screws are special for those frames so maybe that's the problem I'm not sure

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso it shouldn't be a problem to make clear lenses at any eye glasses place that's what we did for my dad the lenses are prescription

sonnicariaso I'm just looking to use them as novelty that's why in trying to put the original clear Cartier frames back in instead of the prescription ones but they don't seem to fit

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso ok I see 🤔 well in that case your gonna have to make clear frames especially to fit you and your face the lenses and screws and alignment was specially measured for my dads face which whoever would have bought these would have to do the same thing the clear Cartier marked lenses do not line up anymore because the screws and size of the prescription lenses was custom fit

sonnicariaso Oh we'll see I thought since it came with the original lenses that I could easily switch them. It wasn't really clarified that they had been adjusted and customized. I would want to use the Cartier original frames not just plastic clear ones

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso I'm sorry you feel it was clarified but it does say it in the description that there is prescription lenses in the frame but the lenses that come with the frame are not really meant to be used do to the big emblem on the side of the lenses

pjng1020 @sonnicariaso I'm not comfortable putting my phone number up here I'm sorry but if you want to put the original lenses back you have to make them at a glasses place they no longer fit the frame because the lenses and screws are made for the custom lenses that are in the frame right now there's no way to put back the old lenses they have to be specially made like every other pair of glasses
