@msaffliction Hello! :) I am in culinary school right now, and I work at the school, help with the Medical Culinary program, assist the chefs who are also educators, I bake and sell cookies and cakes, and I do private chef work as well. I'm working toward having my own business as a private chef. I love food, lol, and love working with people.

I am enrolled at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, their brand new program which is incorporating sustainable food systems and agricultural science to promote health, environmentally friendly everything, and purchasing local ingredients. Where did you attend school? What type of chef are you?

@gothchef that sounds wonderful!! We also try to purchase as much local as possible, though tough in the winter here lol! I'm a chef with the epicurean group in the Oakland county area, we have Coach in Detroit at the renaissance center too. I am in catering now, which is where I prefer to be, don't really want to go back to the "restaurant" life and hours per se.

@gothchef We do a lot of eclectic and fine dining cuisine from all sorts of worldly varieties but we do a lot of different Sephardic foods as well because we operate social events at the Jewish temples :)

@msaffliction How cool! Sounds like you have an awesome job, and you seem passionate about it. It's so important to love what you do. I spent 5 years in a career I hated, and was so miserable. Cooking is my passion. It has been since I was learning to cook at the age of 5. Congratulations on all your success! I wish nothing but the best for you!
