jdecor I emailed an authenticatior 2 days ago when I purchased the belt and expect to hear back today. I believe I have 3 days to report to Poshmark, and hopefully they understand if it’s a weekend I can’t ship it back until the next business day.

jdecor @gigigirl14 yes I’m using a Gucci authenticator named Castira online that was recommended on the purse forum. I already did file a claim to Poshmark though.

jdecor @gigigirl14 I'm not sure if this means anything, but Poshmark seems to have taken down the listing. I don't know if they do that as soon as they get a credibility complaint, or when they actually find the item is misrepresented. I am getting a bit antsy about the authenticator since it's been 2 days and I haven't heard back, not sure what to do on that front. Honestly I can pretty much tell myself, it feels like plastic. I own designer goods, they are a world apart, not like this.

jdecor @gigigirl14 if poshmark doesn't refund, can't I still go through other ways? So if PM took down the page then there's a good chance it's not just me and I'll get a refund? Usually I'm well educated on designers and authentication, this was just an impulse buy, definitely a stupid one.

jdecor @gigigirl14 No nothing yet! I'm getting a little stressed because I haven't heard back from the authenticator (that was recommended on TPF authenticate this Gucci thread!!) so I'm stressing out because if I only have 3 days my time is up tomorrow and I don't think I can get a turnaround from another authenticator in time.

jdecor @gigigirl14 @alizcuevas Case was resolved, I'm sending the belt back thank goodness! Need to get my money back from that no-show authenticator as well. I've done some exhaustive research on the marmont belt by this point, and I can now say I won't make the same mistake again. Though I've fallen in love with the Gucci Hysteria so will go with that instead of Marmont.
