Hawnashop took shape starting in 2017 during my first year of graduate school out of a necessity to work part-time while going to school full time. After graduation, I decided to make it a full-time career. With a Master of Environmental Studies under my belt, and an awareness for the need to salvage items that were prematurely bound for the landfill, I decided to do my part in lessening the environmental impact.

hawnashop @tangerine22 Hi! Thank you! So, I'm in the process of transitioning to more sustainable packaging...right now its not great. I currently keep it pretty basic and don't include any thank you notes or special wrapping. However, I'm using poly mailers (yuck). I've been researching the best and cheapest compostable poly mailers and its down to noissue and wastebasedco. I will also be switching to a kraft paper wrapping for items to inventory. I recycle and reuse a lot of packaging as well.

cpearlvintage @hawnashop not yet, I need to find some. My husband recently had a shirt delivered in a kraft paper mailer. That looked good but I haven’t checked out where to buy anything like that yet. I do include a small (2in X 3in) thank you note cut from otherwise useless paper. The next batch of cards will be made from a 2019 planner that didn’t get used much.

justineposhmark hello, love the Acapulco pieces you have! I just saw you accepted some of my offers. Need to change the shipping address as I won't be able to check the item etc., and Posh is not letting me change it online for some reason. Can you either hold off on sending it to the address on file until I can get someone to help me with the issue, or can I send you a different address for shipping? thx

hawnashop @justinehammond Yes I’ll hold off until all is fixed! Looks like address was changed on one of the items. I’m assuming that I’ll be shipping out these all separately...which is probably for the best so there aren’t so many odd shaped breakables in one package.
