abthursday Hi Jessica, I too am relatively new to actually selling and buying. I recently started to sell and join in. I found that when you have a question, the community is very supportive and responsive. I have asked questions of a couple different Posh Ambassadors and always received help. sunraza Your closet looks great! I read men’s cloths are a little slower to move because it’s still new to the platform, so keep doing what your doing! You have a great following, so keep on sharing! Try and list or re-list a couple items a day so you can get noticed on fresh press.

hubbyandme Thanks for sharing from my closet. I agree with sunraza that mens clothes are slower. I had only put up womens items until recently when I put up some mens shirts. It is slower to get likes and sales on these mens items. Just keep sharing your closet and other people closet for exposure. Try to share to the mens "parties". Good Luck and happy Poshing !

rosemarief Hi Jessica, my name is Rosemarie And I am a Posh Ambassador. First off - your closet. I like most of the pictures you have posted. Some of the shirts look wrinkled. Making yourself stand out from the crowd is much harder. Look at a lot of closets. Follow more than a few Posh Ambassadors. You go to Shop and then check out people and then look at several Posh Ambassador closets and who you’d like to follow. Ask their help as well. It takes a lot to make people hit BUY

rosemarief Share your listings or some of them every day to keep the focus on you. Share other’s items if they share yours. It’s hard to get people to pay more than 75% off. I just found out that many people sign up for Poshmark just to troll for rock bottom prices. You’ll notice as they don’t have a closet.

rosemarief Always price your items a bit higher so you have room to make discount offers. As you’ve probably noticed most want to pay $5 or $10 max for any item and that’s frustrating. I can’t sell anything less than $10 or I only make $2. Equally frustrating.

rosemarief So list a few listings at $10 or $15. Don’t cheat yourself. But maybe list a few of the oldest shirts in your closet at that price. I like to have Six Hours Only Sale at least once a week. In your item listing title type in SIX HOURS ONLY OR THREE DAY SALE and stick to your guns —- when the sale is over, re-list your items back to regular price.

rosemarief To help build a network take a couple hours each week and comment on some of the items you share. Such as ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SHIRT JUST NOT MY SIZE or WHAT A UNIQUE NECKLACE or even just type PRETTY in the comment box. 99% of the time that person will engage you by at least saying THANK YOU.

rosemarief Be up front and tell them you will share their items every time they share one of yours. Follow those people who connect with you. Most of all people want to buy quality items at the lowest price. Make sure you offer quality items. Even if you have to set higher prices.

rosemarief I do like all the signs in your closet - that counts too. Follow Kim’s advice on joining every posh party That’s appropriate share your item to the party every half hour or more often than that.

kimberly_smith It is also good to get into some Posh party’s I know a few wonderful ppl on here that host a small group party also the big party’s is where y’all get your Host Picks I have quite a few but got really busy so its hard for me to join them. On the big party’s that they announce on your notifications go to each party Host congratulate them ask them to consider your items as a Host Pick

rosemarief One last thing- I get really upset if people can’t give me a five star rating. Mostly because on this site your reputation is so important. I just found out that Poshmark doesn’t list negative feedback. I relaxed but only a little. ❤️❤️❤️

kimberly_smith @rosemarief that is so true if they can’t give me a 5 ⭐️ I usually block them because my items are as described you will come across some really mean ppl and honestly I’d rather not sell to them again so I block them you will also come across some really wonderful ppl but describe your items to the best of your ability that way there it’s hard for them to be negative about you unless there the type of ppl you just can’t please good luck 🍀😇😊

ben_savage Hey I saw you had a question about men’s sales. Poshmark is geared toward women but I’ve been able to sell and found many others. If your “preference” on your posh page is women than that’s pretty much what you will see.
