jsmoore334 Hi Jessica, I am going to be returning your necklace. There are no Tiffany Hallmark markings, or any markings on the two circles. Even one of the circles has been soldered. And the necklace needs a good cleaning. Thanks for your understanding. Julie Moore

venturathreads @jsmoore334 hi Julie, I did say in my post that the necklace needs a cleaning. Also the markings are on the clasps of the necklace, as shown in the photos. Let me know if you have any other questions!

jsmoore334 Yes, I remember you said it needed a cleaning. Each Tiffany piece should have a Tiffany mark on each piece. Not just on the necklace. And you should have smooth soldered pieces. I’m just not comfortable keeping this piece.

venturathreads @jsmoore334 I don’t believe the “O”s were ever meant to have markings on them. The Elsa Peretti signature is on the clasp of one piece of the necklace, and the Tiffany & Co logo is on the other piece. The necklace is technically two pieces and can be separated by sliding the chain out of either of the “O”s, if that makes sense.

venturathreads @jsmoore334 I understand the wariness of purchasing on PM, some bad apples have ruined it for the bunch. I wish I still had the receipt to make you feel more comfortable! I did attempt to clean it myself (I’m a newbie to cleaning jewelry) so that could be the reason for the O’s not looking super smooth. This was purchased at Tiffanys at Valley Fair Mall in San Jose in probably 2005 or so, trying my best to remember.

venturathreads @jsmoore334 I would recommend maybe taking it into the Tiffany’s store to have to looked at? I wish I was more of a Tiffany’s expert to make you feel more comfortable. But I do know I took my boyfriend at the time to the store to pick it out & purchase it. I hope that helps, I do want you to feel comfortable. 💖

jsmoore334 @venturathreads I am not near a Tiffany Store or otherwise I would. And the way the chains hang, with the clasp way to one side which you would be able to see on the side of your neck. Something just doesn’t seem right to me I’m sorry for any inconvenience I may cause you. But I will be returning the necklace. Maybe you might see what I’m addressing.
