nycgrits @posher1108 Hi Jessie. Just want to let you know I’m heading to the post office to ship your coat to Poshmark. If you have a moment to read my reviews you’ll see that I always take special care with wrapping and packing every item and I really hope that Poshmark does the same when they ship the coat to you. Just to be safe, I did a thorough video of every inch of the coat, garment bag and hanger as I wrapped it and sealed the box.

nycgrits @posher1108 I put a thank you note in the little plastic holder on the garment bag and hope that reaches you. I know that it takes a great deal of faith to purchase online from individuals and sincerely appreciate your trust in purchasing from me. The Burberry coat was my first luxury purchase so there was some sentimental value attached to it, but I’m also grateful that I was able to let it go so I can help my daughter. I sincerely hope your expectations were met because I closely inspect every item and won’t list anything if I find even the slightest flaw. I say that because while I appreciate the Posh authentication, I don’t like that something I sold from my closet is unpacked and handled by someone else before it reaches the buyer.

nycgrits @posher1108 part 2. I inspected every inch of the coat and tested the snaps and zippers and it was in pristine condition. Would you please tell me if you were not 100% pleased? I know you’ve accepted your coat and given me 5 stars, but I’ve done the same with a couple of items that weren’t exactly what I expected, but the seller was a kind person and I trusted that they weren’t aware of the flaw. I just need to be sure you were happy. 💕

posher1108 @nycgrits hi. thank you! I did receive the coat with nice presentation. I did notice that the material toward the bottom of the zipper is a bit frayed from normal wear but I do love the coat and appreciate your kindness. Hoping your daughter is well. One day you will have an even better coat to replace the one you've passed to me and a story to tell. :)

nycgrits @posher1108 part 1. Jessie, I’m so sorry—the zipper has always been like that. When I purchased the coat I asked about the same thing and the salesperson assured me that the zipper was designed that way. Maybe I’m naive but most likely I wanted the coat so much that I didn’t bother to ask for proof or to speak with someone else. 😢

nycgrits @posher1108 part 2. Also, thank you so much for asking about my daughter. She’s bipolar and it’s been a five year battle of on and off meds, suicidal, and drug and self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. Mental health issues in America are still hidden and people are ashamed to talk about it when it affects them. I’m thankful that she’s been in recovery since Oct. 25, 2021 and she’s working hard to maintain that balance. There’s gonna be a part 3–sorry!!

nycgrits @posher1108 part 3. So about the coat—Ugh!!! I feel horrible that I accepted the salesperson’s story about the zipper. I probably wore that coat a total of 5 times and it was always stored in the garment bag—that’s why it’s in such good condition.

nycgrits @posher1108 part 4–I’m sorry that I talk so much!! Next week when I return home from visiting my dad I will be adding a LOT more stuff to my closet and if you see something you like I will send you an offer for $3. I hate when stores offer me a discount on my next purchase as a means of correcting an issue and wish I could offer you something free, but Posh doesn’t allow it. Please accept my apology and thank you for being so kind and gracious.
